Under the title "A Virtual Board Approach for Prototyping and Teaching Digital Design," our scientific paper on the Pitanga Platform has been accepted at the 35ᵗʰ Symposium on Integrated Circuits and Systems Design (SBCCI).
The SBCCI is an international forum that promotes scientific knowledge in integrated circuits and systems design, held annually in Brazil. The goal of this symposium is to bring together researchers from the fields of Electronic Design Automation (EDA), integrated circuit design, and system testing. The Pitanga Platform fits within the Electronic Design Automation (EDA) category. Through the Pitanga Platform, aspiring digital circuit designers can virtually prototype projects described in Verilog.
The acceptance of our paper at SBCCI also means it will be included in IEEE Xplore. IEEE Xplore is a digital library containing a collection of over 5 million scientific and technical documents, including some of the most cited publications in electrical engineering, computer science, and electronics. Writings by giants of science and industry, such as the revolutionary patents of Jack Kilby and Robert Noyce—both inventors of the integrated circuit—can be found in this digital library.
