The Pitanga 22.10 platform (Guaxenduba) introduces a new version in addition to the traditional Community Edition: the Student Edition. Released experimentally, the Student Edition offers more advanced features than the Community Edition, including higher logic density and increased operating frequency.

Two models of programmable virtual chips

With the goal of providing more programmable logic for projects, we have developed two new models of virtual devices: the P500LC and the P1000LC. The P500LC can emulate up to 500 logic gates at a frequency of 1Hz, while the P1000LC supports projects with up to 1,000 logic gates, reaching frequencies of up to 5Hz*.

Two models of virtual circuit boards

Now there are two virtual boards available for prototyping your digital circuits in Verilog: the Community board and the Student board. The differences between them can be seen in the table below:
